Buying Firearms Online

Can you order Firearms online?

Purchasing Firearms Online

Yes, you can purchase a firearm online just like any other product. However, it’s important to note that firearms cannot be shipped directly to your home. Instead, they must be shipped to a licensed firearms dealer (FFL), where you can pick it up.

Steps for Online Firearm Purchases from UP, LTD:

Choose an FFL Dealer: Select an FFL dealer for your firearm transfer. Contact them in advance to inform them of the shipment and to arrange for pickup, including any potential transfer fees.

Background Check and Paperwork: When you go to pick up your firearm, the dealer will conduct a background check and complete the necessary paperwork.

Notification of Pickup: Once your firearm arrives, the dealer will notify you using the contact information provided during your purchase.

Returns:

If you need to return a firearm purchased from Unlimited Possibilities, LTD, it must be done before you pick it up from the FFL dealer. Inspect the firearm thoroughly while it is in the dealer’s possession. If you notice any defects, please contact us to arrange for a replacement or refund. Please note that a 20% restocking fee will apply to returns.

Important Note:

Unlimited Possibilities is a home-based FFL. Due to local zoning laws, I do not conduct transactions or background checks on-site. Firearm sales are processed through other local FFLs, or at local gun shows where we are set up.

Choosing a Firearm

When purchasing a firearm, it is important to determine the intended use of the weapon. Whether it is for hunting, self-defense, or target shooting, understanding the purpose will help guide your decision.

Additionally, consider the bullet caliber and size of the firearm. Different calibers and sizes are suited for different purposes, so it is crucial to choose one that aligns with your needs and preferences. Finally, don't forget to factor in the price and budget constraints when making your selection.

Intended Use

When it comes to choosing a firearm, intended use can vary greatly depending on the individual. Some customers may be looking for an everyday carry option for self-defense, while others may be interested in firearms for recreational shooting or hunting purposes.

For those looking for a firearm for everyday carry, it's important to find a weapon that is easily concealable and comfortable to carry on a daily basis. This may include compact handguns or small revolvers that can be easily tucked away in a holster.

On the other hand, customers interested in recreational shooting may be looking for a firearm that is accurate and easy to handle for target practice or competitions. This could include rifles, shotguns, or handguns designed for precision shooting.

For home defense, customers may be looking for a firearm that is easy to operate under stress and can effectively protect their home and loved ones. This may include shotguns or handguns with larger calibers for stopping power.

Finally, customers interested in hunting may be looking for a firearm that is powerful enough to take down game animals at various distances. This could include rifles, shotguns, or large caliber revolvers for a more traditional hunting experience.

Ammunition Caliber

When choosing a firearm caliber, it is important to consider the experience level of the shooter. Larger caliber products can often have unmanageable recoil for new shooters, making it difficult to handle and control the firearm effectively.

For new shooters, it is recommended to start with a .22 LR caliber for both pistols and rifles. This caliber is known for being shooter-friendly, with minimal recoil and easy handling, making it a great choice for beginners to learn the basics of shooting.

Another option for new shooters is a .410 gauge shotgun, which is also considered to be new shooter-friendly. This shotgun is easy to handle and has less recoil compared to larger gauge shotguns, making it a good choice for those who are new to shooting sports.

On the other hand, experienced hunters or those looking for firearms for home defense or self-defense may prefer larger rifle, pistol, and shotgun calibers. These calibers offer more power and stopping power, making them suitable for hunting larger game or for self-defense purposes.

Size of the Firearm

The size of a firearm is an important factor to consider. Larger firearms can be more difficult to manage, but they also have the ability to absorb more felt recoil. This can be beneficial for shooters who are looking for a more comfortable shooting experience.

Additionally, the size of a firearm can also affect its performance. Firearms with longer barrels tend to be more accurate at longer distances, making them a popular choice for those who are looking to improve their shooting skills. On the other hand, smaller firearms are easier to conceal, making them a popular choice for those who are looking for a more discreet option. When it comes to frame materials, polymer or steel frame firearms each have their own pros and cons, so it's important to consider what will work best for your individual needs.

Price

When it comes to purchasing a firearm, the price paid for the gun should be associated with how much you plan to use it. A quality firearm that you plan to use a few times a year, will cost under $600. However, if you plan to everyday carry or use the firearm weekly, you can expect to pay above $1,000. Factors such as barrel wear, slide wear, and ease of disassembly, ease of maintenance, manufacturer's warranty and accessibility of repair parts should also be taken into consideration.

It's important to invest in a firearm that suits your needs and usage frequency to ensure longevity and performance. By considering these factors, you can make an informed decision on the price and type of firearm that is best suited for you.
