NRA FIRST Steps Classes are designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific type of firearm for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least (3hours) ** long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific firearm type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; firearm parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate. Course is at a comfortable and easy space. If you do not have a firearm, for a fee, a loaner firearm can be utilized. 50rds/shells of Ammo is included.  Any questions, text, call, or email. **The First Steps pistol course will not allow you to apply for your Ohio CCW. Please chose the Basic pistol course if you are seeking to apply for your Ohio CCW.
